Moving On

Authored by Dan Keeble

Moving On

Attractive 3 bedroom secluded property. Viewing essential.

Entrance Porch. Where my bridal headdress snagged on the rose thorns, and my hair
extension wrapped around Kevin’s face like a moustache. Carrying me over the threshold
was a wine-fueled challenge. We laughed so much.

Lounge with French windows, and open brick fireplace. Where amber-crackling logs
added warmth to our wild passion on the long-haired white hearth rug. It became the spot
where we enjoyed making love.

Modern Stylish Kitchen. The place where we loved cooking for one another, and
indulged in the build-up of sexual tension with flour fights and spraying foam cream at
each other.

Dining Room 13’3” x 14’8”. We had so many happy evenings there dining with friends
and family, especially Josh and Rita, our attractive young neighbours.

Master Bedroom with 6’ deep wardrobes. When I told Kevin we were having a baby, he
filled those wardrobes with new outfits as I began to swell.

Bedroom 1 with original Victorian cast iron fireplace. We worked together to turn the
room into a nursery. Decorating descended into giggling, flicking paint at each other,
leading to love making on the dustsheets.

Bedroom 2 Spacious guest room. Where I moved into after the seventh month of my
pregnancy.

Bedroom 3 Attic Room with skylight offering excellent views over the countryside. It
was from there that I saw Kevin sneaking furtively into the shed one evening.

Spiral Staircase, wrought iron, leading to high landing. Where I loosened the bolts
securing the top tread.

Outside the rear of property is a large workshop/shed bordering a shared driveway.
There I opened the door, exposing Rita’s white thigh and leg wrapped around Kevin as he
pumped her against the wall.

Mature trees and shrubs creating a secluded garden. Not being overlooked made the
task of digging a deep hole so much easier.

Newly-laid patio area. Where I sit in my wicker chair rocking baby Jake to sleep. I am
over him now.
